Alexia Scott, MFA, is a landscape and nature painter living in the Washington, D. C. area, where she taught studio art at Georgetown University for ten years. She began her artistic career as an illustrator for the Geological Survey and Smithsonian Intuition. She has been a professional artist and teacher for over 35 years. Presently, Alexia has a gallery in Falls Church, VA. Her work is in collections worldwide.
