With its unique culture and traditions, Georgia was very different from the rest of the Soviet Union, with flourishing private business and religious life even under the watchful eye of the Communist authorities. Lily's autobiographical tales explore the life and struggles in this far flung corner of the world in the 1940s, 50s, and 60s. Join her as you are transported in the old Jewish quarter of Tbilisi and observe life in the tightly knit community.
