Miscellany is a lifetime collection of styles, moods and themes expressed in poetry or prose, and contains works influenced by the majestic landscape of Golden Bay, New Zealand. Some of these works have won contests or been published or selected to be read at significant public events. Others are up close and personal. Each makes its voice apparent. Karen Brookes, a past member of the Golden Bay Writer's Group and Boulder Writers, Nelson, has won literary contests and been published in New Zealand anthologies, local collections and literary magazines.
