This book is about a mother who came from a foreign country with her daughter to America to start a new life. After growing up into adulthood her daughter meets with an unfortunate and untimely death. Heartbroken, mom decides to honor her memory with writing a book about her short but exuberant life. She wants to share and let others know how coming to a new place can be challenging in the beginning, but with patience and perseverance, better and brighter days do unfold, as her daughter found in America a very rich and happy life full of many friendships and successful endeavors. Being a preschool teacher and author, mom decides to make the book child friendly as she combines past and most recent photos, accompanied by a wonderful biography, narrated in full by her daughter's commentary in a schoolbook fashion that touches the soul, and pulls the inquisitive child's mind right into question and answer mode. A sad circumstance turned into a delightful read to benefit both the young and old.
