After weeks helping her aging parents move to assisted living, Beth Anderson is jubilant to be back in the Caribbean aboard her sailboat, Double Trouble. Even better, her entrepreneur boyfriend Terry has joined her to explore the islands for the next six months.

They soon get involved in a multi-island treasure hunt with prizes and a party that has already attracted many other cruisers. But then a plea for help from a fellow cruiser draws them away from the fun to help her sail her boat to the next island.
