There are two sides to every story.

The title of this book is either "Hereafter" or "After Here," depending on which story you begin with. They are separate but connected stories.

Hereafter: The Destroyer runs rampant. Joshua and Marai stand in the middle of a potential war between two worlds. Joshua must try to recover his connective abilities in order to solve the mystery of Hope and understand his purpose. Marai works from the other side of life, walking in the spiritual world and hatching a plan to haunt those who have set out to commit planetary genocide.

After Here: Doug loses an eye during a routine night watch when a man attacks unexpectedly. In the hospital, he is fitted with a prosthetic eye that allows him to witness a man others can't see. He has a message for Doug. With the help of a nurse named Amala--who has just been entrusted with the care of an orphaned infant--they must escape the men who hunt them and lead an ever-growing population of followers to safety before the world meets its fiery end.

The concluding book in the Turnabout Trilogy.
