Silky David is a lone female cop in a long family ancestry of male New Orleans cops.




Donovan O'Roarke, a newly relocated 6'5" New York City cop still haunted by the young hostage he accidentally shot, meets David in a French Quarter bar believing she's a hooker. Unaware of his new co-workers and their undercover sting operation, he arrests her. Fellow male cops stay undercover pranking them both, letting him haul her to the station, where they're dubbed David and Goliath.




Partnered together, they're vying for the same detective position. Amid Louisiana's sultry landscape and rising passion, they have two weeks to find the killer before Mardi Gras. And then, her niece disappears.
