For Kiara, traveling through space aboard the cargo ship Acadia is her life. Originally from Trandor, a very young Kiara was found floating through space in a destroyed ship by her adoptive Earth father. Kiara has no memories or knowledge about her home planet, and no understanding of the power she holds. With the help of new friends and allies, she begins to realize the power she has. As she works to develop and grow her power, she discovers her own inner strength and the friendship and love of those around her. When the Acadia is pulled into battle, Kiara's newfound power will help to save them, but it will also attract the attention of ancient enemies and corrupt governments. Kiara must work with the crew of the Acadia and her new allies to not only save herself, but also to protect those she loves.
