1-800-OH-MY-BLACKNESS was written to try to understand why good black people and good white people have yet to fulfill their common calling. Sensational tragedy between races is not going away. Fingers are pointed. Lawyers assembled. Children are at risk of distorted biases of truth. It is WWIII on our streets. I talk much about values, family and searches for common ground. It takes courage to be good. It takes courage to be Black. It takes courage to be White. If you care. So try to absorb all the nuances and all the humor that points the finger at us. Find a black hand to hold. Find a white hand to hold. Then kneel. Enjoy the journey... it is private and it matters.
