My Daughter Lou Zitnik
My Daughter
Lou Zitnik
At request of his court-appointed psychiatrist, Manny struggles to write a description of the events that led to a series of brutal murders. He starts with his friend's suicide, a visit from his tequila swilling spirit guide, and a promise to help a mysterious young professor save one of her students. With the help of his flying pig-dog, the pages are soon filled with the smell of pot smoke, the discovery of a secret love, and a trail of bodies leading to his imaginary daughter. His finished journal was found during the search for three escaped patients from the high-security state hospital in Hawaii. Since then, two of the patients have been returned to the hospital. The third, the author of this manuscript, remains at large.
