LaCroix opens up some of the darker moments in her life and addressing not only how people hurt her, but how she hurt people. Knowing that no one is perfect, especially herself; T. LaCroix was able to pick herself up and charter waters she may not have been able to do otherwise. Because T. LaCroix uses her life experiences of feeling unwanted by her mother, rejected by her father, disappointed in life decisions to help others heal. This provides a special personal touch.
