After an inexplicable accident on her most coveted archaeological dig at Stonehenge, Kash wakes up in the hospital three days later, certain her dreams of swirling blue light and fabled sorcerers were just that: dreams. Her new tattoos beg to differ. After her colleague, Blake Wilson, listens to her wild tale and takes her to an old friend's library, they discover Kash's newfound powers allow them to travel into the pages of their favorite novels. Of all the stories they now had access to, the fabled sorcerer Merlin only warned them against one. Morgana le Fey was the sole reason for the creation of the spell powering Kash's new abilities. The witch's designs would irreparably mar the stories themselves; her anger at her various authors pushing her to the mysterious magical powers of creation. When Kash and Wilson's exploratory adventures inevitably bring Kash face to face with the witch, Morgana's plan is set in motion. With the help of the learned librarian, Dr. Radcliffe, Kash and Wilson must avoid the witch's deceptions and use the magic of Merlin's spell to preserve the endings of the stories thus keeping Morgana from rewriting all of history and damaging the world beyond repair.
