This small book is the second of two volumes on the shabads of SrÄ« GurÅ« Tegh BahÄdur JÄ« that can be found within the section of RÄgs within the SrÄ« GurÅ« Granth SÄhib JÄ«. Many Sikhs read the Saloks of Sri GurÅ« Tegh BahÄdur JÄ« and focus on this dispassionate work but do not realise that the GurÅ« also authored 59 different shabads within the SrÄ« GurÅ« Granth SÄhib JÄ«. The purpose of this publication and the previous volume is to celebrate the 400-year anniversary of the manifestation of SrÄ« GurÅ« Tegh BahÄdur JÄ« to the earth. The ninth GurÅ« of the Sikhs played a pivotal role in the story of both martyrdom and the preparation of the KhÄlsÄ order becoming manifest. The one aspect that people tend to forget about is the scriptural writing by the GurÅ« and the influence they have on an individual to obtain a state of dispassion to focus on the reality of the true quest in life. In this small book, you will find the commentary of the shabads along with any additional stories that are required to understand the narratives being explained. This volume contains the final thirty shabads that are found authored by the GurÅ« within the RÄgs of DhanÄsrÄ«, JaitsrÄ«, TodÄ«, Tilang, BilÄval, RamkalÄ«, MÄrÅ«, Basant, Sarang and JaijÄvantÄ«. The commentary is taken from the 'GurbÄnÄ« Arth BhandÄr commentary compiled by Sant GiÄnÄ« HarÄ« Singh (RandhÄwe wÄle). This volume comprises of the knowledge found within the diasporas directly linked to preserving the definitions provided by SrÄ« GurÅ« Gobind Singh JÄ« to the Sikhs. I pay my salutations to this work as it provides an insight to the knowledge being provided by the GurÅ« to the Sikhs. It is for this reason I wanted to bring this knowledge to an English-speaking audience.
