You can't judge a book, not even an e-book, by its cover, and you can't judge a person, or anything else, by an exterior. Well, OK, yes, we can, and we often, perhaps even usually do. In fact, as one publishing veteran told the author, publishing companies might spend thousands and thousands of dollars on a book cover, trying to influence judgment. But, in fact, judging books or vehicles or, especially, people by external trappings can and often will lead us into error. How do we properly judge? Only by actions, only by character, only by accomplishments.
