The same prophets who declared the Messiah would enter Jerusalem on a donkey, be betrayed by a friend for thirty pieces of silver, be deserted by all his friends, say or do nothing in protest, and have his hands and feet pierced before his enemies, also said that he will split the Mount of Olives with his feet, crush his enemies as an iron rod crushes pottery, destroy the devil, renovate and restore the earth back to its former beauty and perfection, and reign as King in Jerusalem.
