Lukas Fairwight and the Tawdry Petticoats are a notorious group of thieves in the city of Baltoya. They steal from the rich, the pretentious, and the egomaniacal with glee and zeal. However, when a past member and old lover return to the city and beg Lukas and his friends for help, everything seems to turn against them. With the Red's, an elite police force, having caught their scent and the mysterious Elder Kings making their way to the city, it seems that the Petticoats have finally flown too close to the sun. Will they burn up as things intensify or will they find a way to make a profit from the predicament?
