Joel Gordon is a returned Iraq war veteran. After having a spat with his wife he decides to go on a fishing trip at a peaceful lake. He catches a snag and crawls onto a log to get it dislodged. While he works on it he loses his balance and falls into the lake. When he resurfaces he finds himself in a different world full of strange creatures. Joel has to use all of his knowledge gained from soldiering to learn how to survive.
