Friendships, and young love, blossom in an island paradise. In such a beautiful place, where humans and demons live together peacefully, nothing could ever go wrong, right? That's certainly how Hyper and Okara feel about their home as they spend their days under the tropical sun with each other and the rest of their friends. Everything is perfect in their corner of the world until the day the Ganymedes, a notable family of demon slayers, arrive on the shores of the island, bringing with them terror and war. With everything now gone, Okara leaves the island hoping to find, not only a new place to call home, but Hyper, whom she had been pulled away from during the chaos. A shadow looms over her travels however, as the Ganymede family continues to hunt her, intent on finishing what they had started on the island. Undeterred by this, Okara moves on and though she befriends many and has several opportunities to make a new home for herself, she refuses to abandon her goal: finding the one she loves again. Knowing that every step of her journey is dogged, Okara strives to discover what has become of Hyper before the Ganymedes can catch her. Hyper wakes on an unknown shore with no memory of how he arrived or where he'd come from. With only his name and his faithful wolf pup, Lancer, Hyper sets out to find the answers. His journey spans the globe, as well as many years, and he becomes not just an adult, but something far more than human. Vague clues surface in his mind as a result of his changes and Hyper begins to realize that he's not searching for something so much as for someone important to him. The answer he seeks continues to elude him however, and the remainder of his memories remain resolutely locked away which makes him wonder, if he finds who he's looking for, will he even remember them?
