Into the Valley of Death walks fifty-year-old, overweight and graying, Jarrett Keller. Affable, unassuming, self-deprecating, and more than content to waste the rest of his days in retirement, Jarrett sees his universe crumble when he finds himself and a friend entangled in a crime cartel power struggle south of the border. A deposed crime boss marked for death by his former associates, believes that Jarrett is his ticket to sanctuary in America.
