Look, you don't need me to tell you that the 1920s were a time when ghosts and goblins were running loose. Or maybe you do. For this, my fine fucking friends, is the Strange and Halesthetic Tale of Charlie O'Farley McBragg, a book about ghosts, goblins, boglins monsters, scary things, maybe a werewolf or 2 (IDK, I haven't read the book). If you're coming to this story after reading Magic Worlds of Magic (the best book of short stories ever written, unlikely to be surpassed in this or any other universe) then you know all about Charlie O'Farley McBragg: Ghost Policeman, and the way he tracks down ghosts and makes them pay with hard time for hard crimes. Well, this is his origin story. But if you're coming to C. O'F. MB. for the first time, then you're in for a real Treet! For this is the book all about how the famous ghost policeman stopped putting on the beans and started putting ghosts in jail.... or should I say a jar! But that will make sense once you have read the first couple of chapters of this book. Now, if you are reading this in a bookstore like Borders or Books Etc., then please don't turn to the first few chapters, read them, and put the book back down. It's much better for you to buy, as this keeps money circulating through the ecomony. And that's important, no? Its very good to buy books like this one, especially when there a good value like this one is for it is and I promise that mad cold hard style. Slap me some skin and put your gams on fast for this is a book about ghosts and spooks in 1920s Peckinghamshire (a Chicago suburb that most people don't aware of). So read this book and think, 'could this happen to me?' I'm not saying it could but I'm not saying it couldn't either. And if you read this book you'll be more prepared for it will be like deja vu when it finally happens, and you'll know, YOU WILL KNOW, what course of action to take!
