Duke and Miguel are part of a research team devoted to laying the foundations of interstellar wormhole travel. During a shower of asteroid fragments, their maintenance pod is damaged and they are unable to escape the gravity of the black hole they are studying. After falling through a synthetic black hole that swallowed the planet Jupiter, they arrived in a fantasy world of strange creatures and magic. Now they are forced to fight for their survival relying on their wits and the resources they can find at hand.
