Anita has fallen for the charms of a man; this man her first lover. In her effort to relieve her conscience she enters, the Monastery as a novice nun. When once again caught in his arms this man is sentenced to flogging and flees town. Anita is forbidden to enter her father's home and is forced into the only occupation available.
