She is shocked! Also, she's told that her dad once saw her working in a five and ten, but he said nothing. Why? Now the most important question is: where is he now? Betty Jo and her friend, Helen, set out to find her real dad. They scour the Bergenline area and hire a private detective. She so longs to meet this mysterious man she has seen only in an old photo-graph. Ultimately the search leads her and her family to a future none of them could have imagined.
