When my fiancé was killed my life changed!! I went from a happily engaged, encouraging woman who was a firm believer in God: to a hateful, God bashing bitter woman who wanted nothing more than to die rather than deal with the pain I was feeling. After 5 1/2 years of being with the love of my life and preparing for a wedding just 7 months away my fiancé was shot and killed and it tore my world apart. The aftermath from losing my other half almost took me out mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and, most of all, physically. I screamed at God and didn't want anything to do with him, I was over it. After attempting to take my own life God had other plans and I'm still here . . . This is the story of our life, love and all the pain I endured after his passing which only made me stronger. It made me trust God when I was mad at Him the most! It made me fight for my life!! However, before I got to that point I went through somethings that I shouldn't be alive to speak about. God told me that he was going to use my story to save the lives of people who are going through any type of pain. That pain doesn't have to be from someone passing away; it can be from any kind of loss-meaning job, relationship, friendship, marriage, etc. because pain is pain. He just wants you to know that all things work for the good of those who love Him, even the things we consider as bad. I am a living witness of God's goodness and here's my story!
