Gyr Cot is the second book of the six book series, The Woodsman of Anglia. It sets forth the next forty-two "shewings" of the Woodsman, a Christian mystic who resided in the latter half of 15th century pre-Reformation England in that section of Northwest Suffolk, England known as the Brecklands in the time period following that of Julian of Norwich and Margery Kempe.
