"Lord if You will, I know that You can make me clean." (Matthew 8:2 NKJV) Addiction. Prison sentences. Loneliness. Shame. Guilt. Suicide... and you don't have to be an adult to shoulder these. How often do we suffer the pain and degradation of our past sins trying to stand up in a world that wants to see us fail? The repeating cycle of addictions, jail or prison sentences, and/or the desire to lean toward suicide as a final answer plagues the world. Millions die of overdoses or relapsed drug bondage while the corrections system tries to cookie cut every prisoner into a criminal that is shoved back into a world they can't find success easily in. The human trafficking industry is at an all time high with children being exploited and sold. Children and adults alike are suffering from vulnerability and lack of love from those who are supposed to be their loved ones. It's chilling that so many think that no one cares for them and that they are thrown away to the wolves of society... and never sought for again. The world is so corrupt it has made human life a currency with no thought of anything but their own gain. What if I told you that there was a Door you could step through and find yourself sheltered from all of that? What if I told you there was Someone Who understood your pain and sorrows, anguish and fears? That He would and has given everything to show how much He loves you? Because He does. He's the Door and He's standing so close to you waiting for you to seek Him out. You could step through that opening and never look back. You could lay every heartbreak, every bad habit you possess, and the world as you know it at His feet. He's greater than this world and He's overcome it. You can trust in Him to already know the way even when you don't. In this mini-read, "Are You Clean?
