I found these stories to be insightful as I read them in the Bible. So, I wanted to personalize them for myself. I fictionalized them and gave some of the characters names which don't appear in the Bible, but helped make the story more personal, I included one personal story where worship played an important part in healing from our loss. I hope these stories help you find even more stories in Scripture than I found to be centered on worship. It has helped me to love all scripture even more. The discussion questions are there to apply the concepts of the story to ourselves. I have had to ask myself these same questions, and I don't often like the answers I see in myself. Worship is an important exercise in a Christian's life. Worship is expressed is many ways; in response to answered prayer; in tears because we don't understand why we are going through difficult times; in obedience of being willing to sacrifice a son or daughter. But all worship should be to God for His glory and honor. The stories in this book illustrate how we worship in different times and seasons of our lives. These stories have helped me see how important worship is throughout the Bible. Our worship today isn't the same as yesterday's worship, or will be the same as tomorrow's worship. Our lives change, but God never changes. He desires our worship for He is worthy. He loves us just as we are, whether life is tough or sweet. So let us "Come and Worship" our Lord and Savior.
