Libby the Psychic Dog is a series of cozy mysteries intended for adults, but the series is suitable for all ages.t's Christmas again, and Libby, or rather, Sir Percival Plep, is looking forward to sharing the holiday with his beloved Mama, but when her son shows up with cruise tickets, neither Mama or Percival is thrilled. Her son is persistent, though, and Mama agrees to go, leaving "Libby" with friends Eddie the German Shepherd, and Clair the Standard French Poodle. Eddie lives with Charlie, an old man who can't hear or see well. Percival stayed with him during one of his adventures so he knows the old man, but he notices that Charlie isn't doing well. On top of that, there's a woman living next door who has visitors at all hours of the day and night. She doesn't like Eddie, who barks whenever someone comes to her door, and she threatens to call the police if Eddie doesn't stop barking. Percival knows she's hiding something, but when he finds a broom left on Charlie's step where the old man would trip and fall, Percival takes action and calls upon his friends to help him find out what the woman is up to. The Nefarious Neighbor is the fourth book in the Libby the Psychic Dog series.
