Introduction I wrote most of this book while away on a girl's trip to the California coast. A lot of soul searching happened over the timespan of those three days. A lot of healing, understanding and letting go. It was my mission to focus on what I needed inside, and in a lot of ways, I encountered myself for the first time. Found a voice I hid long ago. Dug up words that I had somehow dusted into the corners of my bones. Here's to the ocean, for always bringing clarity. For sand in our toes and the earth beneath our feet. Here's to being brave... to being fearless.
