What is kindness, really?

We see posts across social media from people retelling their latest acts of kindness. There's this lingering idea of "pics or it didn't happen." We all want to be known for our good qualities, the things we love, what we stand for, and the good we do for others. On the surface, this idea seems harmless, and even godly.

But the truth is that it's not about us or what we've done. Our very purpose here on earth is to love God and others and to point others to God and what He has done. As the Holy Spirit works in our lives, we can choose to show true and selfless kindness.

Over the next 30 days, we'll walk through Scripture to see how God shows us to do just that.
