Hammy's Day Out' by Kristine D. Linder, is a beautifully illustrated children's book. It tells the story of Hammy who lives in a hamster mansion where there is a waterfall and a garden maze. Every morning when he wakes up, Hammy is greeted by Bowl of leafy greens and everyday he enjoys cool refreshing water from his waterfall.




One morning, Hammy wakes up sad. He feels so lonely and unhappy that he decides to remain in bed, thinking of what to do to find inner peace. After a while, Hammy chooses to go in search of a new home, thinking that this holds the key to happiness.




Is he right? And does Hammy eventually find a new home? And what does he do when he realizes that the world is full of challenges?
