Emmylou and the Pixels Mary Marcella Mager
Emmylou and the Pixels
Mary Marcella Mager
An angry Emmylou and her brother, Levi, are thrown together in a remote mountain cabin where it is hoped their mother will recover her health. Their summer becomes anything but boring when they discover the Pixels - tiny people who have been living in hidden tunnels and are known to only a few humans. The children are drawn into their lives when they are threatened by a logging company's plans. The children must convince the adults to save the trees, and the Pixels, without revealing their existence. As they fight for the Pixels, Emmylou gives up her anger and learns to embrace hope for her mother's recovery - for if Pixels can exist anything is possible.
