"One-Verse-Eight" is a chronicling of the character and promises of God as woven in scripture, taken exclusively from the first chapter and eighth verse of every book in the Bible: from Genesis to Revelation. It details the unchangeable nature of God, starting from His original intent for creating mankind, and navigating through such topics as: our battles and failures, God's divine anger, judgment, and forgiveness, His resolve to fight for His own, His promises to restore, and His ensuing gift to enable us overcome, the new "Us" as we live right, His kingdom now and forever, and a short insight into the anger, mercy, and faithfulness of God."One-Verse-Eight" reminds the reader that Jesus is Lord of all, and that God has already laid out the master-plan for victorious and stress-free living in His Word. It challenges readers to submit to God's commandments in order to live in a peaceful and inspired way here on earth, while waiting for the irrevocable promise of eternal life with Him after their sojourn on earth is done. It ends with a short petition from the reader, asking God for mercy for past failings, for a new beginning, and for victory over life's difficulties.
