Born with a silver spoon in her mouth, Angela Sutton should have lived a successful and fulfilling life. But the spoon is tarnished due to the constant belittling and ridiculing by her father during her formative years that destroyed Angela's self-confidence. As she progresses through life, dream after dream fails and suddenly it's too late for another dream and she slowly but inexorably slides into poverty and hopelessness. Homeless, friendless, fearful and filled with despair, it is only towards the end of her life, when she is totally incapacitated, that Angela finally finds the success that she has spent her life striving for and becomes aware of what caused all her dreams to fail. She takes solace in the hope that her experiences will influence those tasked with providing the love, guidance and support that children need to live fulfilling, successful and loving lives. This is the story of a woman's lifelong struggle to overcome the affliction placed on her by her uncaring father during her formative years.
