Was adolescence as great as you remember? Some of Dallas' more memorable moments happened the summer when he was eighteen. He lived in a stately home in Coyote Creek, a picturesque town at the edge of Ottawa, Canada's capital city. Despite the grandeur and the luxury, his heart was more at home across the river in a serene watery oasis shrouded by evergreens mountainside. Sunshine, highways, green fields and blue sparkling waters were what framed Dallas' life. However, even in all that beauty, he often lost himself in his own insecurities and longing. The brink of manhood is not an easy place to stand for anyone. The past holds the sanctity of his home and routine, waiting ahead are first romances, first fights as well as the inevitable first unforgettable heartbreak that leaves everlasting sorrow. A collection of real characters guide each other through the awkward time that finds us all at the end of adolescence, at least those of us who make it there.
