It's the evening of Sunday December 29, 1940 when Ellie, Rachel, Marcus and Jack arrive in the City of London amid all the devastation as bombs stream down in what was to become known as the Blitz. Why did the Honors choose such a dangerous time? Does Ellie survive a bomb blast when she and an elderly lady are bowled over then covered in rubble?
