On a rocky path towards self-enlightenment, the two have only each other to rely on. Caleb, the fifteen year old boy abused by his father, and Alistair, the portrait of a man who lived over 100 years ago. As they begin to bond, feeling an uncanny and in-explainable connection to each other, the two realise their friendship stretches beyond tangible reality. Alistair watches the horror of Caleb's abuse, incapable of assisting him, and Caleb repairs Alistair, unable to confide in anyone else, except for the dusty old portrait that lives in the attic. *May contain themes of violence towards children, sexual content and graphic violence.
