It's time to celebrate kid authors. Are you ready to escape from Minecraft(TM), break a fatal curse or frantically find your way out of a mysterious cave? It's time to experience what it's like to be trapped on an island, come face-to-face with a bully or be a part of the weirdest summer camp ever. These short stories were written by fourth and fifth graders who have completed the Fun Creative Writing 12-week writing club at Murdock Elementary, where they learned about plot development, and story collaboration. Some of these young authors are new to short story writing, while others have honed their craft over the years. Either way, they are imaginative, creative, and full of wonder.
