Building a Family
William S Corgan
Life continues for Max, Tom and their new sons. After returning home from their trip to Chicago, the group prepares to be interviewed by the local news, Max to talk about the abuse he survived, the life that has followed so far and what comes next, while the boys discuss their own young lives, where they came from and how much they love being a part of their newly-formed family. After the interviews are done, things begin to settle down and a regular routine is reestablished. Preparations begin on the new house as Max and Tom have a meeting with several architects to discuss the upcoming project. With the boys in complete agreement on their dads' selection of designer, a decision is made, and planning can begin in earnest. Max also receives an e-mail that could drastically change his family's future. While everyone is excited about a special guest's visit to discuss a new and very important project, emotions are severely tempered by an unexpected and devastating loss of life. What effect will this loss have on the family, one young member in particular? Can Max and Tom keep the group together and moving forward, or is this the end of the fairy tale?
