Prayer is communion with God. It is an art of worship of the Almighty. Prayer is asking and receiving from God in the spirit and simplicity of a child. Prayer is the pouring out of our hearts to God in the liberty and license of son ship. Prayer is a potentially powerful devastating force which brings home the victory to the child of God and rolls away tears, sorrows, sadness, and defeat. It is the only thing and the greatest thing the Bible says we should do without ceasing. (1 Thessalonians 5:17) Prayer is the hand that moves the world. To pray is to depend on God. When we pray we involve God and the hosts of Heaven in a spiritual warfare against the kingdom of darkness. The greatest force is generated on our knees. Prayer takes different forms but basically prayer occurs when man talks to God and God talks to man.
