The Sons of John Oliver Miller, is a fictional adventure novel that is sure to thrill the most avid reader of exciting and spine tingling adventure stories. John Oliver Miller's sons venture into the rugged rocky mountains in the late-1800s dangerous gold mining days, seeking their fortune, following the trail of gold minning evidence left by the Rush to the Rockies High Grade Miners of 1859 and by Juan Maria Rivera during his 1765 expedition from Mexico into the vast San Juan and Sangre de Cristo mountains, looking for gold, silver and precious gems for the King of Spain. This novel is a fictional story, however, the main characters are based on the lives of five brothers that actually spent many years prospecting for gold in the Rocky Mountains. Some actual events have been incorporated into the story, but the author leaves the determination of which events they are to the reader's imagination.
