The world is divided into two queendoms: the human realm of Aesgeroth, and the elvish realm of Aeskeron. When an elvish knight crosses the border and kills her brother, Farryn has no choice but to travel to Aeskeron to seek revenge. There, she learns that the elves aren't the enemy; the humans are. The elvish queen Almyra uses Farryn as a spy to learn the human queen Severa's plans for the second war between elves and humans. While in Aeskeron, Farryn becomes close with the Knights of Aeskeron, including the handsome and secretive Jukka. Farryn discovers that everything she thought she knew about the two lands and herself aren't exactly true, and that the queen Severa might not be the savior the humans think her to be.
