The Bust that went Undercover, A Breast Cancer Survivor Story.
Catherine Bryant lives on the NSW Central Coast in Australia. She was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer, which was Her2 positive, she was forty six at the time. One month after her diagnosis, her entire right breast was removed (had a mastectomy). In 2017, she underwent one year of chemotherapy and a targeted therapy. This book is about her journey, from diagnosis to treatment. By sharing her ordeal, she hopes to raise awareness of the impact cancer has on an individual & to reassure others, they are not alone. This book portrays what a cancer patient goes through from losing their hair, fatigue and insomnia. It will help you understand the highs and lows from a cancer patient's perspective. She also provides very helpful websites where cancer patients can find support & get some great free products and services.
REVIEW from E. M. Kinga Mac. This is a very touching story of a woman's harrowing ordeal with stage 3 breast cancer. The author discusses her travails with grace, maintaining her optimism throughout and it's more than enlightening; she also provides a list of very helpful websites where cancer patients can find the support they need. Highly recommend.
