Having left St Paul's College Cheltenham with a Cert Ed in 1978 he went onto teach Physical Education for some years before retraining in Technology at King Alfred's College in Winchester. He later graduated from King's College, London gaining an MA. Ed., Computers in Education, and has taught Computing for the last twenty five years at various educational establishments.
