"Someone wrote about me recently...'Richard T Green made me cry the other day'. That's the nicest thing anyone's ever said about me! Thankfully they were referring to one of my books, not me!" Richard was born in Warwickshire, England, 'quite a long time ago' (his words) but as soon as he was able, moved to his preferred county of Norfolk Although he'd written for magazines and newspapers, he came late to his career as an author; his first book published in 2010. Richard has a mission in life...to write sci-fi and paranormal stories that can be enjoyed both by aficionados and those who normally wouldn't touch the genres. This is not an easy task, but his fast-paced storylines and easy-reading style go part way to achieving his objective. "I don't want my books to get bogged down in technical details or intricate phrases only five percent of the population would understand. That doesn't mean there isn't technology, or aliens and lots of horrible stuff happening...far from it! But actually, I write about people - normal human beings, thrown into abnormal situations." He's right. All of the books released to date have clever, unique plots but are primarily about humanity - its frailty and the strengths people find when they're forced to do so. Which may explain why his readers find it easy to empathise with the characters he creates. "I'm big on emotions; my books will make you laugh and make you cry. I'm ruled by my heart, not my head. Which is why I'll never be rich...but it makes me a better storyteller!"
