Our lives are filled with delusions designed not to witness the true nature of reality but to enable us to cope with the daily needs, tasks, and worries of life. However, for some, these delusions backfire and become the source of our torments and undermine our ability to cope. This novel uncovers those delusions and questions whether our delusions provide us any real relief and security or trap us in our own misery. Ultimately, is everything we know and believe nothing but the delusion of humanity? A private investigator is sent to the Path of God Ministry, a fast-growing cult in search of a missing woman. The cult leader possesses an uncanny ability to locate missing bodies attracting suspicion that he may somehow be involved in their disappearance and murders. Meanwhile, he plans to climb the ranks of the group and confront the cult leader. His plan backfires as he becomes more involved and is forced to confront his own horrific secret.
