Axeman is a journal of someone who still practises guitar playing alone in his bedroom and who finds inspiration through the medium of YouTube. However, it is also a humorous journal of a straight talking ordinary man with life encompassing concurrent passions for: his family; the guitar; cultivation of fruit and vegetables; baking and the production of preserves. Having practised different styles, studied a variety of artists and searched YouTube for inspirational clips, it occurred to me to pass on my experience to other striving guitarists or those generally interested in music.
