Over the years, we've attended several church services. Regardless of denomination, we can all attest to the fact that all churches have one thing in common: a sermon. Some of us have critiqued ourselves in hopes to deliver a better message in the future while others are comfortable being stagnant. Also, we can all say we've witnessed some unforgettable sermons whether it was because the sermon was excellent or the delivery was poor. The moral of the story is we as ministerial leaders must adequately equip ourselves for the assignments we are given. We must not take them lightly or give one church less than the other based on its congregation. Instead, let us keep a burning desire to not just dress with excellence, but deliver with excellence and prepare our sermons with excellence. That is the only way we will get from the pulpit to the nations!
