This book is based on a collection of letters that we found in an old trunk, after my Mother passed away. Letters that were written to my Mother while she was away at War, most of these letters were from her Mother (my Grandmother). These letters tell of the Wood's families love, closeness and struggles. In this book you will travel back in time to the 1940's, visit the Little Hamlet of Springs where the family lived. You will also meet many other local people from Springs. You will get to meet my Grandmother, a wonderful, caring, strong women that doesn't quit; even while she is dying. you will see the struggles that the Wood family faced and how through it all remained strong.
