Takeover is the story of Finley Rios, a famous record executive and club owner from Los Angeles. When the life that he left behind over a decade ago comes roaring back he must return to the place he escaped from. Having ties to the criminal underworld in New York, the notorious Joey Numbers requests that he comes and fixes his nephew's failing nightclub. Upon arriving he is greeted by former business partners and a cast of dangerous people who aren't too happy to see him back in their town. It becomes clear quite quickly that more is going on than he knows. The city is embroiled in a terrible turf war between the four criminal families that run the city. The Numbrazo's, the Tran's, the Moretti's, and the O'sullivan's. With Finley now deeply involved and his family being threatened at home, he makes the difficult decision to try and unite the families and take over control of the city from Joey Numbrazo. Will Finley be able to unite the families? Or will he lose everything he loves in his attempted takeover?
